Meet our Doctors

Jessie Banks, D.D.S.

Dr. Jessie Banks completed her pediatric dental residency and internship at Texas A&M University – Baylor College of Dentistry and received her D.D.S from the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Banks has extensive experience in working with children who require special needs through her residency training at Baylor’s Dental Clinics, Children’s Medical Center and at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.   Dr. Banks has also completed her Board Certification in Pediatric Dentistry and is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  She was the recipient of the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award for scoring in the top 3% of the nation for the written board exam.

The education required to practice pediatric dentistry includes specialized training of two or more years beyond dental school. Pediatric dentists such as Dr. Banks often work with pediatricians, physicians and other dental specialists in order to best provide the total health care necessary for the development of a child.                                                                                                    

It is Dr. Banks’ true joy to work with and inform patients and parents on dental issues pertaining to oral health. Her goal is to increase awareness and provide education in anticipatory guidance of pediatric dental care in areas such as oral development, fluoride adequacy, oral hygiene and health, oral habits, nutrition, diet, and injury prevention. By doing so, she hopes to establish positive partner relationships with her patients, parents and community.

Dr. Banks has a strong commitment to education and community service. She is an active member in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Kitsap County Dental Society.  She is also a member of the Evergreen Study Group, where she and other pediatric specialists meet to discuss topics in pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Banks enjoys spending her free time with her husband Greg, a firefighter with Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue, their son Ben and two great danes Lily and Kona. Her hobbies include reading, rollerblading and other outdoor activities.

Meet our Anesthesiologist

Dee Isackson DDS MD

Dr. Dee Isackson was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She finished a DDS degree at the University of Washington, School of Dentistry in 1980, and practiced dentistry in Seattle for five years. She finished a medical degree at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 1990. She then completed her medical anesthesia residency at University of Iowa’s Hospitals and Clinics in 1994. She was the Medical Director of Anesthesia at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte, Nebraska in 1996 prior to relocating back to Seattle. Since 1997, Dr. Isackson provides dental anesthesia services for the University of Washington Department of Anesthesia and Department of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Isackson is meticulous about patient care and safety and a wonderful partner in providing quality care for children at Kitsap Kid’s Dentistry.

Our Staff Marika is our Office Manager as well as our Insurance and Financial coordinator.  She is here to answer all of your questions regarding insurance and financial arrangements. With 7 years of medical front office background experience, she has a wealth of knowledge to share!  Marika hails from California, land of the sun, and has lived in the Northwest for 16 years. Marika has three wonderful boys and stays busy with picnics near the water, exercising, camping and hiking.     Crystal  is a fantastic dental assistant that has been with our practice from the very start! She graduated from Everest College earning her dental assisting certificate. Her love for children and passion for dentistry brought her here to Kitsap Kids Dentistry to help accommodate all of our patients and parents. When Crystal is not at work she enjoys spending time with her animals, watching sports, painting and traveling when she has the time!     Haley graduated from Everest College's esteemed assisting program in 2009.  Assisting is her next adventure in a lifelong passion for working with children that has included past work as a teachers assistant and caregiver.  Haley is patient and puts kids' care first!  When not at work she enjoys being outdoors, tennis and spending time with family!     Cintia is one of our energetic dental assistants who brings five years of experience in the dental field to Kitsap Kid’s Dentistry. She is great when it comes to communicating with the children and is very patient. Outside of assisting, Cintia tutors Spanish at Olympic College. She has been married for 15 years and has two wonderful boys. Cintia is very involved in TV programs with her boys and is a fan of Naruto and The Sweet Life of Zach and Cody. She is computer savvy and enjoys reading when she is not at work.     Georgette is one of our great assistants that is eager to help your child have a positive experience with dentistry! Originally from Colorado, Georgette was brought to the Pacific Northwest while serving in the United States Navy. Ready for a change, she completed the dental assisting program with Everest College. Outside of assisting, Georgette enjoys working out, playing with her beagle Timmy and spending time with her boyfriend.     Kristin is our Scheduling Coordinator and is ready to help set your child up with an appointment to fit their needs!  Kristin moved to Washington State from Grand Cayman Island, BWI in 1990.  She has one Daughter, Caitlyn and two cats Tabby and Meisha.  She has a passion for children and animals and in her free time enjoys her volunteer work at the WestSound Wildlife, cooking for her family and friends, camping, hiking, Pilates and spending time with family. Skana is a new addition to our front office team! She has many years experience working in customer service and is excited to help make your family’s experience at Kitsap Kid’s Dentistry a positive one!  When she isn't working you'll find her spending time with her husband and two little boys. She also loves to garden and take family vacations.     Ashley Ashley is the newest addition to our front office team! She's passionate about serving our patients and has enjoyed providing top notch customer service for over 10 years. Ashley has 2 wonderful children, a 4 year old son as well as a new baby girl. Her son has been a patient here at Kitsap Kids Dentistry for 3 years now! Born in Bremerton, Ashley is a life-long Washingtonian living most of her life in Kitsap County. When she's not helping out our kiddo's here @ KKD, she enjoys camping, spending time with her family and playing with their 2 kittens. :-)       Back to Top
